Where can I buy ski boots online?

I'm after a pair of Fischer Soma Progressor 100 boots. I've rented them a couple of times and they're the most comfortable boots I've used.

I've been into a couple of stores and believe it or not, even though I live in Austria, it's almost impossible to find anyone that stocks them other than the ski rental shops and their prices are not ideal. €350 new or €300 used.

I'm sure if I wait for a while, I'll get them at a discount but first I need to find a supplier.

Do any of the ski buffs know of any good places to buy them online? (Keep in mind I live in Austria so they must provide delivery to Vienna!!)

Have you tried Snowshack - although it is a US website they do ship to Europe

Presumably you've used the dealer locator on the Fischer website? Because there're looooads in Austria.

I don't know much about ski boots as I'm a boarder but surely if you were buying some new ones you'd get them fitted correctly rather than buy online?

I personally wouldn't buy ski boots online. They normally have to be changed in some way to fit properly. Best go to a reputable shop.

I expect he has Euro's and is trying to get a bargan, but buying ski boots online won't be one of his better decisions.

Of course that presuposses he hasn't alraedy tried them on in a Austrian shop.

Just spent 3hrs with OH getting his new ones fitted. What a faff!

(not literally... ie not on a Monday morning before work).

No problems with getting them fitted. I know the exact size needed since I've been measure out and I've tried them, plus I've got a friend here in Vienna who used to be in the Austrian under 18 downhill team and his old man has all the gear you need to get them heat-fitted properly.

Just need to find a good price. These are definitely the boots I want......
