Hong Kong - honeymoon quality hotels

Monday morning all!
Following on from my 'Where to go on honeymoon' thread, top of the list is to stay 3 night in Hong Kong followed by 7-10 days in the Maldives.
Had a squeeze on Trip Advisor for the best hotels but does anyone 'recommend' anywhere suitable to stay for a honeymoon? It sounds like there is plenty to do in Hong Kong - can it be a romantic city to stay in or is the idea a bit odd?

Plenty of roof top bars with stunning views over the harbour, and you can easily get a boat ride in the harbour to watch the light show at 8pm.Watching teh sunset from Victoria Peak is nice too - there is what looked like a decent restaurant up there as well.

Its not cheap, no. Rooms are stunning though. Proper Old World elegance and class - surprised they let me in 
The shopping mall underneath may set you back as well - Tiffany's, Armarni etc

Even if you dont stay there, you can still go to the bar. Just dont do what I did...
The lift has mood lighting and as you get closer to the bar, the lights dim...I thought the lift was breaking down so started hitting the alarm button.

Will be nice and cool (about 15-20) and dry - not been out there that time of the year however. 3 days, I would do dinner at the 'Peak, harbour boat ride, sundowners on a roof top bar, one of the street markets in Kowloon, possibly Happy Valley Race Track if you like the gee-gees, and there is plenty of shopping if you/your partner like that kind of thing - basically HK is one big mall with some businesses on top of it.Cheers for the ideas, it sounds, and looks like a stunning place.
Or if you fancy something different, you can get some excellent fresh fish restaurants on Lamma Island (20 mins by ferry) - totally different vibe to HK< and has some nice nature trails too.

That's been my choice before, get the pick up from the airport as well, it's not that much more than cabs and well worth it after a long flight.Felix Bar at the top is stunning.

Make sure you book in for tea, as it gets busy.
But definitely the best choice IMHO

Speak to the hotel - they might do it cheap instead of discounting rooms. You never know if you dont try...How much is the Rolls Royce pick-up? That sounds like a perfect honeymoon idea!
They will also book you tables or arrange any trips you want.

If you want to eat at Felix, the lead time for a table booking is normally a couple of months too, but you can drink at the bar without a reservation.
The Gents toilets are something else, the urinals are placed in the window, so its like peeing out of the window into the Harbour.
Be prepared for tour groups of American women to burst in, mid-pee, though!
The Sheraton has a great bar which overlooks the Harbour too, and the rooms will be cheaper if you want to stay there.
I'd recommend the Marco Polo Hongkong Hotel, personally.
