Some letters in upper case closely resemble their lower case counterpart, but, why the feck does D face completely the other way to d?

Other anomalies are G and g and also A and a are slightly missrepresentative of each other

Think yourself lucky, in some other orthographies symbols may be different depending on whether they occur at the beginning, in the middle, or at the end of a word.

ETA: Another thing about written or typed Slovakian language is they don't half sprinkle all their words with accents. Making it difficult to learn.

Because d would be b, obviously. And if you rotate or flip, q and p.
