Do I buy the Euro here or there?

Am travelling to Lanzarote on Thursday and am unsure if to buy Euros before I leave the UK or in resort - or even to use a cash machine over there, but I know that my bank will mug me on the charges and exchange rate. Last time I went (July `08) I bought currency in the UK but of course things have changed considerably since then.

Did`nt know what the Ph massive thoughts were, as I know you are all a well travelled bunch and knowledgable on such things as money!

Don't buy anywhere. You are usually cheaper if you just use your card.
