Yep I noticed that Tesco Super had gone up by 2p today compared with last weeks fill-up. Profits here they come!

I suspect that it's a delayed reaction to the issues with Russian gas. Lack of gas means demand for oil will go up i would imagine. Demand up means price up too.

yes, my local cheap Shell garage has gone up 1p to 83.9p.

I presume the recent increased violence in the middle east has had an impact. I've noticed diesel has gone from 94.9 --> 99.9 in most places but I have managed to find 95.9

How long before dollar rate starts to be a factor? I mean a real factor, to the point where while it's $30/barrel the currency translation makes it £50
