Hi
Need to buy a new Vacuum cleaner and finally going with a Henry Vac. We have constantly had problems with crap vacuum cleaners breaking due to over use(poor suction, wheels falling off)
Generally all comments about Henry Vacs are quite positive
Any thoughts?
Best / Cheapest place to buy?
I don't really want the evil face staring at me, is it possible to get the same ones but 'unfaced'? I have seen ones without branding but they seem to be larger commercial ones, whereas the domestic one looks about the right size.
Is there a lot of love for Henry on PH?

We had a Henry.
He was fantastic, picked up plenty of dirt and never moaned at all. He's got a happy little face, why would that be scary?
I would get another for sure.
This one is a tenner

I have a Dyson but went out and purchased a Henry, so, make of that what you will. Makro usually have them on special offer, but once the VAT has been added, there's not a lot of difference from the likes of Comet etc.
ETA: Henry's also come with a very long lead which wind back in easily, so one does not have to keep replugging the thing in everywhere.

Is there anyway of getting them from Makro without VAT?
I have never been but if I could find someone to get it for me, can you get it -VAT if you are a business?
All VAT registered suppliers must charge VAT and VAT registered buyers then reclaim VAT...but only if the product is for business use.I have never been but if I could find someone to get it for me, can you get it -VAT if you are a business?

I am thinking of buying the blue or green one because they are mens colours
Am I going to regret everytime I look Henry in the face, knowing I could have had the original Red?
Is blue not a Charles & Green a George (Wet/Dry Vac)?Am I going to regret everytime I look Henry in the face, knowing I could have had the original Red?
I think you can get them without a face they say something beginning with "N"instead
It is depressing that I knew all that and don't own any!

I'm a car valeter so use my henry for hours a day he has been going strong for a good 18 months now and not a single hint of trouble.
You have to get one with the face though, that's what makes a henry a henry and he is a great laugh to have as a workmate, gets on with jenny the generator, partricha the pressure washer and my george wetvac great too
