Pubs in Notting Hill

I'm staying in Notting Hill for a few days soon and was hoping to pop out in the evening for a drink or two with my other half. Rather than wandering around aimlessly can anyone recommend me a lively pub or two? Somewhere that serves food would be a bonus but that isn't totally necessary.

There are a couple of nice bars on All Saints Road that do good food, plus a few good restaurants,Rhys Ifans (Notting hill movie fame) often seen falling around Drunk
