I left home for work this morning as usual.
Got to the train station and trains were cancelled/seriously delayed due to ice on the lines.
So I'm back home in front of the fire with a bacon sandwich and nice cup of tea.

Anyone else smiling this morning?

Had a lovely 2 hour traffic jam on the way to work, due to idiots who have forgotten how to drive when it's a bit icy, and decided the best way to stop was to use the car in front.

It's understandable I guess though, as its been AGES since we last had ice on the roads, so its easy to forget...

Git. I am sitting in what is basically a freezing cold store room, in a crappy hotel, trying to audit a mess. With a ham roll for lunch.

Why don't you stop being a lazsy bd & find another way into work?
If i phoned up & said i could'nt get into work because my driveway had frozen over & couldnt get my mode of transport out they'd expect me in as soon as it'd defrosted!
