Help me spend £400 of company money
Discussion
The company is giving us some cash to spend on some kind of team interaction thing, and I'm struggling a bit for ideas.
We've done the usual paintballing, karting, meals, drinking etc in the past, and before anyone suggests coke and hookers, it does need to be approved by management, unfortunately. That doesn't necessarily mean it has to include any formal "team building" activities - just something that we can do together as a group.
For info, its a team of 6 software engineers (all blokes), and the office is near M3 J4, so anything within a reasonable distance could be considered. Budget is £400 in total, so approx £65 per head.
I've heard mention of "Diggerland" before, any good?

Go Ape if there is one near you. Great watching those who are afraid of heights (typically the office cocky b

+1. There's one in Swinley Forest, only a few miles from J4 of the M3. Actually really good for building confidence if you are scared of heights, it starts off pretty low and gets higher and higher.

My team and I are going Off Road Segway-ing this month! I fancied something a bit different and found it after a bit of Googling.
Look into it, looks like good fun....here's an example. I booked mine direct thro Segway though.

Why don't you all get drunk & take a trip up the oxo tower
Sounds like you speak from experience
Good suggestions all, keep them coming

I've heard of Go Ape as well, and I think there might be one nearby too...hmmm
Gliding seems a little bit individual-centric, so I'm not sure if that would get through, but worth looking into.
Segway racing sounds awesome!
Clay pigeon shooting also a possibility, isn't it expensive though?

What about a day out clay pigeon shooting? Big guns and a good laugh for the day or already been done?
Cracking day out. There's a clay shoot centre not far from the Thruxton circuit...http://www.nsc-clays.co.uk/html/corporate.html

Maybe a bit more expensive but these guys do some really cool stuff: www.outside-adventure.co.uk . Run by the team behind Camel Trophy and the G4 challenge, based at Eastnor Castle in Herefordshire.
