I just read a thing here

http://www.davidosler.com/2006/12/1976_britain_on_...

about how there were plans for a military coup in the 1970s when we had a silly government. Now that we have a silly government again, how about giving it another go?

Anyone think this would be a realistic possibility today if things continue to go wrong?

I wouldn't have, but then I wouldn't really have thought so in 1976 either.

There's a bit more in here. Never saw the documentary, but what fun! I could have been born into a right wing dictatorship, instead of having to wait a whole year until 1979!

Audi says it's a 5 seater, and it's got quattro driveline (so it should cope with slippy chicken st okay) so I'd say yes. I think we could get some pigs in the boot too.

If you dissect them first you'll get more in... (easier to fill the footwell space)

True, on that reckoning we could get about 4kgs of beef in the glovebox, about 20 sausages into the centre console, a leg of lamb in each door pocket and some small pork pies in the cup holders.

Actually the more I think about it, what with the kids and all, I've really got to stick with a saloon for now.

If you filled the back seats up with bacon too, then we can get even more in. Personally though, I dislike the Audi's foreign policy, too reminiscent of the Nazi's imho.
