The answer to a succesfully economy and society
Discussion
It's been coming for a long time, but with money as tight as it is we must move forward with this.
The government must now become responsible for the legalisation, production, marketing and distribution of pure marijuana, heroin and cocaine(albeit in a Camelot type arangement as civil cervants themselves would f
k it up). The unemployed should receive free smack.
Don't think of this as another Case For Slavery by Alan B'Stard MP.
Not only would this raise billions in revenue for the state, it would create thousands of jobs, cut the health risks involved with impure narcotics, but maybe most importantly in a crumbling society it would virtually end domestic burglary.
Secondhand household goods are not worth a w
k, the only reason people break in to steal items is for a shot in the arm.

Just one, the official Minister of Gear.
That's amazing, Minister of Gear
Me likes! I do agree though, legalising all drugs is a good idea. Takes the criminality away from it immediately.
However, we could just stop giving stupid people money. Surely that would help the economy?

Makes me think of the start of Layer Cake.
If we chose to legalise all 'recreational' drugs, how long would it take before a drug company creates a drug similar to 'soma' from brave new world by aldous huxley, I wonder?
It strikes me that despite our huge achievements in creating drugs to fight physical illnesses, a drug which could give humans a huge high without the side affects of crack, heroin, etc would change our society in a pretty big way.

Even if the drugs were legal, people will still get addicted to them and if they are addicted they will probably lose their jobs and then they will still resort to theft and violence to continue the habit, because I doubt the drug companies would be giving this stuff away free.If we chose to legalise all 'recreational' drugs, how long would it take before a drug company creates a drug similar to 'soma' from brave new world by aldous huxley, I wonder?

But humans have figured out a way of getting that high without 'side effects', it just involves skipping the drugs and wiring up the pleasure centre of your brain to be stimulated by electrodes.
