I have just noticed that I have burst a blood vessel in my eye and it hurts like mad...... Am I going to die??


On a serious note does anyone know what would cause this to happen??

Blown eyes can mean bad stuff, but usually just a ruptured vesel locally..

I have had this its quite cool.

Its a stress related vessel that burst, nothing to worry about, however mine was never painful just noticable,

My mate fell off some inflatable thing in a swimming pool once and poked himself in the eye which caused half his eye to go red.

Did you poke yourself in the eye while falling off an inflatable thing in the pool?



Oh.. After I had laser eye surgery there were some ruptured blood vessels in my eye.

Have you recently had eye surgery you may have forgotten about?
