How do you cope with being President?
Discussion
This question has been on my mind a lot lately but it must be hard for someone like Barack Obama.
I mean, think about it, your first day sworn in as President, what do you do? so many choices...
Do you...
Immediately go and visit Area 51?
Demand to know who killed JFK?
Insist on guided tours of places like Raven Rock, Mount Weather, etc?
Scare the crap out of your advisors by putting on your best poker face and ordering Russia to be nuked?
I don't know how these people even find time to be President and all the political crap that goes with it. I'd be far too busy wanting to know all the top secret stuff.

I guess the president, like any other decision making device, is only as good as the information fed into it (or him). The people around him can get any decision they want by editing the information they provide, which means it's a bit daft to blame Bush for all the evils of the world
3 month long national holiday, except for the construction industry, who'd be building atleast 200 new race circuits.
Then to get the full potential from all these new tracks, there'd be another 3 month holiday. For everyone except the automotive industry.
This would continue indefinetly, until oil supplies started getting low, when I'd invade anywhere that has some.

I think you've taken this thread a bit serious mate
I did give this a little thought while being subjected to the umpteenth news bulletin in traffic this morning.
There was I fretting about my Friday deadlines and whether I'll be successful in securing funding for peoples projects...
And on the other Mr Obama has to wake up knowing he is in charge (in the media's eyes anyhow) of the US and A.
On the case of what would I do:
Call a press release with the statement saying all african-americans have to leave the country by the end of the week.
Then whip off the spitting image mask to reveal an old white gentleman...
And shout 'Ahhhhhhh gotcha'
(with Noel Edmonds by my side).

Anyone seen the film with Nick Cage where he kidnaps the President and asks about state secrets, can't remember the name. Treasure Hunt?
