Any Coronation Street fans in here??....
Discussion
Just wondered.....
...
I remember as a kid watching the very first episode way back in 1960, and mainly because my parents and grandmother used to tune in, watched it on and off through the sixties..
However, since around 1970 I reckon I have missed no more than 50 episodes, and only three or four since 1980.....
Is there a cure???
Some questions for the PH massive:-
What was Stan Ogden's friend Tommy Deakin's donkey called??
Which well known actress did Ken Barlow go out with in early 70's who played a headmaster's daughter??
How did Harry Hewitt meet his maker??
What was Minnie Calwell's cat called??
Who played Jerry Booth??
Who was Florrie Lindley??
How did Ken Barlow's first wife Val die??.....
What was the name of Hilda Ogden's daughter??

Such is my massively overwhelming need to know why you'd spend time watching the made up daily lives of some dour Northerners in the arse end of Lancashire or wherever the f
k its set.
Confounds me it does, this and f
king Eastenders, which is more of the same with less whippets.
I give up.

I had never watched an episode in my life, but since the OH moved in 6 months ago, I've unfortunately been subjected to at least 2 of the 4 episodes a week, and now I find myself watching it as there is nothing else on at that time most of the time.
I hang my head in shame.
Get rid of her now, whilst there is still time.I hang my head in shame.
