Anyone got any suggestions of top drawer hotels in Rome?
The Aldrovandi Palace looks good.
It's for a weekend visit in July.

Marcella Royal. Great value at about 120 eruros per night.

Lovely staff, good location, piano bar on the roof. Breakfast included in the price. Rooms are a little small but it is to be expected in Rome. 15 minutes walk from the main attractions which makes for a good nights sleep away from the traffic.

It's small and a bit antiquated but it's a lovely place, perfect location too. I'd be interested to learn of some others just in case i fancy a change

I've stayed at the Hotel de Russie (work paid the bill).
A bit stuffy, but beautiful. Great location on the Piazza del Popollo too.

The Aldrovandi Palace that you mentioned is in the Borghese Gardens, you cannot go wrong there it's absolutley stunning. I may even stay there next time i go, it looks lovely
