Vintage Rayban Avi's - Repari

I have a pair of Rayban Aviators from the 80's which I got from my Dad. Now, they seem to be a special edition 'Duty Free Elite' or something and have got an individual tag number stamped onto the bridge.
I have broken one of the nose support things (the little plastic petal thing that the glasses use to sit on your nose) and the small piece of metal that attaches that to the frame. Annoying as I love them and take good care of them usually.
Now I remember that these ones were supposed to be a bit like the early versions of Oakleys / Zippo services where if you sent them back they would repair them for you for free? Anyone heard this? If not I have had a good old gander around their website and can't see any repain links, so I thought I would ask the PH collective if they knew. Or perhaps someone can out of the blue recommend someone independent who does repairs?

Most decent opticians will use a repair company who specialise in exactly this type of problem. We use a company in Birmingham called Dunrose Optical but they don't deal with the public!
Either choose a small indie practice around you or if you are local is or want to post them send them to me - pm if you want to.
They're good guys who know what they are doing and will do a decent job. Should be around £15.
FYI Oakley never had a unlimited warrantee on any of their products. They do have a very low cost repair programme and often do stuff FOC but it is at their disgression.
Rayban don't exist as a comany anymore - a bit like LandRover. They have been bought and sold dozens of times. Currently owned by a massive Italian frame company.
