If you were responsible, which of these would cause you to think "I can't live with myself, I'm gonna end it" ?

Economic harm could be, for example, not providing for your family or mismanaging a business causing its closure and putting people out of work.

I can't see this being open for long, but I think causing the death of a loved one would do it - An option that's not quite there...

Yeah - there is no "no" option! I wouldn't go through suicide for any of those reasons!!

Suicide isn't the answer to guilt. If you feel that guilty enough about something you have done then you should use your life to make amends not just end your life.

scratchchin But the only reason not to commit suicide is a fear of a painful death/life if you fail. Why would you need any of the choises?

Ok, I'll explain myself.

You see all these reports about people killing themselves because they've run someone over, or lost their job and the missus has to shop at Poundland or they were involved in something that harmed other people's lives.

So I'm interested to see what other people consider MAY be their cut-off point, where they think they'd probably feel so guilty that they'd see suicide as an option or an inevitability.

All depends on the circumstances but none of the above, suicide isn't the way out.

I put non of the above however its hard to know how you would react if you did something awful in a moment of madness like kill your children (for example)

Do people feel guilty about having depression. I suppose they do if it impacts their family and friends, but it's not quite up there with murder and putting people on the dole.
