Does anyone know or been to any nice wedding reception venues in essex for about 200 people, reasonably priced.

Not sure about price, but leez Proiory just outside Felsted is really nice

Is it just me, or does recommending these Golf & Country Club places for a wedding reception just scream "ESSEX" at you too?

If it's a summer wedding, I'd recommend Le Talbooth in Dedham.

They can't do 200 indoors, but they have a mega marquee in the summer (almost solely for weddings) which I believe can.

Had my wedding reception there; couldn't fault it. Beautiful location too; river runs alongside the venue for fantastic photos.

One of East Anglia's premier establishments.
