Out of interest. Professional interest, you understand, I work in the Timekeeping industry. Who has to do what? If your time isn't measured or recorded how are you measured- sales, money, what?

A timesheet once a month for me. It's a bit annoying, as the dates change from month to month depending on school half terms, and where the middle friday of the month falls (or something). So I've missed the deadline a few times before now, and not got paid that month.

Nobody cares - until I dont know the right answer or let a client down. As long as I can manage that I can do whatever I like.

Apparently no one cares - as I have been entering 75118 - DSLAM maintenance for every day the last 5 years. I am supposed to do it weekly, but I tend to do it every couple weeks.

And thanks to everyone who has polled. Intriguing. Roughly a quarter of people polled DO keep time in some way. To be honest I am a bit surprised it is so many. Perhaps it's something to do with the PH demographic working at computers all day!

I don't have contracted working hours - basically I have to do what I'm paid for, when I do it is largely irrelevant - apart from going to meetings, which as a senior manager is rather often...

noone cares, no matter what day it is. as long as we hit deadlines there's no drama. we are expected to attend product trials 24/7 though, so its give & take

Big Muslim/Hindu/other top religious bloke.

What are you doing on PH, and more importantly, what do you drive?

I go to work and the boss keeps track of the hours, I do have to report back what I was working on sometimes though so the billing can be done correctly. Much of the afternoon was spent securing one of the units as the tenant has gone bankrupt and the landlord is owed a fair bit of rent, so no one is going to get in the place to lift anything.
