Samoyeds (the white dog in the first photo for anyone going "A what?") are quite good for this. Most of the time they don't shed but occasionally they blow their entire undercoat over a couple of weeks. You can collect it by the bucket load. Or pluck the dog like a chicken, it's quite relaxing.

I remember that!

I also remember the great many total and utter fktards who thought they'd killed the animals for their fur - instead of using their manky moultings which was actually the case.
