A nice pub and B+B in the Lake District

Off to the Lake District with a mate in the morning, I know it relatively well but does anyone have any recommendations for a B+B thats close to a good pub with good food and near some good walks? Just going for one night

Really depends which part you're going to, but Brook House Inn at Boot in Eskdale.

The wife's uncle runs a pub in Ingleton near Skipton called the Craven Heifer - good food, b n b. Can find number if its any use to you?

Pooley Bridge at the top of Lake Ullswater about 5 miles from Penrith has 3 pubs and least two are inns.
