Yesterday I had a new TV aerial put in and I connected it to a new Freeview box picture is perfect and it shows very high signal quality but I dont have the 2 most important channels for any man out there

I've got a similar problem but my TV (freeview part of the TV) loses ITV and Channel Four digital signals. Evey other channel is great.
Weirder still is the new TV downstairs, same make and model, uses the same ariel to get the tv channels from, yet has perfect signal for both of these channels... Bizarre!

Check out http://www.ukfree.tv , it's a mine of important info's about Freeview, including where you should be pointing your aerial. You might be missing a Mux (Multiplex), which carries those two channels amongst others. My mums Freeview TV doesn't have BBCi or the Digital Radio channels due to this, but she doesn't much care so I didn't bother fitting a better aerial.

Have you got Dave +1? As already mentioned, Dave and Sky Sports News are on the same Mux. Dave +1 isn't.
