Likely to be going against the grain here - but did not rate it at all.
I like my horror films to have a sense of 'character intelligence' about them - this is what makes the suspense element work. Eden Lake had far too many 'don't go down to the cellar moments' which spoiled what could have been an effective little indy film. The ending was good, if easily predictable following the cafe scene at the start of the film.

king Chavs!!Given the obvious nod the film makes to the state of our nation, and in particular the lost generation of scumbag teens that apparently sit on every street corner and think that they are above the law, I was hoping for a bit of payback from the law abiding middle classes. Suspend believability even further, I say, and have the central female character hunt down and kill every chav faced teen on the screen. Now that would have got the Daily Mail readers whooping with pleasure.

Oh, I don't know, I kind of like it when the victim loses, which tends to more of an echo of daily life 
The slasher genre is more typical of victims winning at the end of the film and there haven't been any decent slasher movies for ages.
If revenge movies are your thing then I'd probably suggest Death Sentence, which has Kevin Bacon at his best. Really good one, that.

Why did the guy drop the knife in the first fight scene? Why didnt he move his chair back to free himself from the branch? He gave his missus a sat nav, why didnt she follow it?
But the biggest one - why, when she bluetoothed to her boyfriends phone to dial 999, did his phone then ring!?!
lastly, why the hell didnt she recognise the family house at the end, when she'd been there earlier that day.

Chris, whats your opinion on the very last scene? did they kill her, and how did they do it?

When the showed the scene with Brett deleting video clips from his mobile, and give a wicked look in the mirror, it was as though they were basically saying they would get away with it...How would the parents expect to get away with that?

But that's the great thing about movies, the story ends when the credits roll. It's like the contents of the briefcase in Pulp Fiction, the story centred around the briefcase but it was completely inconsequential as to the contents.How would the parents expect to get away with that?

t.I did think the film was believeable in respect of the little bastartds carrying out the attacks, etc, but dont see how they would get away with it.
But I suppose at that point, the parents thought this maniac woman had just slain their kids, so their actions could be understood..?
