The RSPCA has seized two dogs from their owner after she was accused of feeding them too much.

Not sure if I'm more upset with the owner or the RSPCA....

Surely you're at a clear 'fork in the road' on this one?

crazy thing is

If you lock your dog up all day when you are at work its ok . .

If you lock your child up you get reported to the NSPCC

BUT

If you feed your dog so its fat you get busted by the RSPCA

If you make your child obease its ok?

Does something not seem right

Those dogs are not just fat, they are beyond that! They are between 2 and 3 TIMES what they should be. That is not just a little too much food here and there, but a consistent and massive amount of overfeeding! Dont think that the strategy was fair though....

I hate seeing overweight dogs plodding along behind their owners, panting and out of breath. It's just another form of cruelty.

Re the other point, a child is able to say, no thanks, I don't want any more food. A dog will often eat as much as you put in front of it.
