Afternoon all,

Is anyone having any problems with Barclays today? They appear to be not processing any payments

and yes, i do have money in the account

I had a payment to my Barclaycard from my Barclays account "not accepted".
Thought it was due to a recent change of address on my Barclays account but not my Barclaycard account; amended the details accordingly...still didn't work!
...I'll try again tomorrow...

Called them, allegedly it was fraud protection because i bought a song from Amazon for 69p!

Better safe than sorry.

Although when someone spent £1500 in Italy on pre pay mobile vouchers, its fine!!

Hehe, good to see the rumours are flowing again, now that peope can go short to take advantage (just kidding )

Apparently small amounts are often put through on stolen cards to check whether they have been cancelled or not. Maybe it was a transaction like this that triggered it ?
