Grandchildren taken from grandparents who were deemed too old to adopt them (aged 46 and 59)!!!! Placed for adoption with gay couple.

Don't be fooled into thinking this article is anti-gay, the truth is that its about the destruction of a family by interfering social workers.

I would have thought the natural adoptive parents would be the grandparents

I can't see how they can be turned down on health grounds at that age. Unless there is more to the story this is absolutely mystifying, grandparents have always traditionally stepped in in such situations.
