Simon Heffer had a similar comment in the Telegraph a few days ago. There is no provision for any country to leave the Euro and the financial markets will pounce on any country that tries to, but in the end it may be the least worst option for some.

As commented in a thread yesterday some Germans are already refusing Euro notes which weren't printed in Germany.

I'm a little uncomfortable with this 'PIIGS' term, especially when used by a notoriously right wing toilet paper like the daily mail. I'm sure they quite like bagging up what they would consider'lesser europeans' with a term like this.

I dont think Im being paranoid here but sounds like hidden racism. They know what they are writing...
