Their economy is in worse shape than ours and our PM threatend them with laws designed (officially) to prosecute terrorists but they are shipping blankets and jumpers to our OAPs because they are shocked at how many are dying as a result of not being able to afford heating.

This country can be frustrating sometimes.

I'd sooner they honoured their obligations to savers in their country's banks.

It's interesting to see the 'fourth biggest economy in the world' and former Empire now getting aid from a small rock populated by Viking fishermen.

A round of applause for the Icelanders and a round with Mike Tyson for Brown.

As I understand it Iclands GDP was 3/4s made up of finacial institutions making profits. All gone now.

So they've lost 3/4's of their ability to generate wealth.

So much worse than ours (as I understand that the city only generates 1/4 of our GDP....)
