Me and R1 mate are riding down to the MCN show tomorrow, and staying overnight in Leatherhead (long story), then riding back Saturday via the Ace for breakfast.

Any recommendations for a beer/bite to eat in and around Leatherhead?

On the corner outside Nationwide with a bottle of white lightning. It seems the most popular spot in town

Theres a little restaurant right opposite the wetherspoons on the main 'high street' thats quite nice. As for pubs, there isnt a lot but I'd walk down to the bottom of the pedestrian high street bit to the Penny Black which is on the right, just past the newsagents.

or, for a better plan, get a train to Kingston / Clapham

Leave Leatherhead immediately and head to one of the following:

The Bear in Oxshott

The Running Mare in Stoke D'Abernon

And there's a newly refurbished pub on the right just as you go into Cobham on Mill Road, that does excellent food and for the life of me I can't remember what it's called.

Cheers for the rplies so far.

Will have had an earlyish start tomorrow ~6am, ridden down to London, all day at the bike show, then ride from Docklands to Leatherhead, so don't fancy venturing too far out after that.
