Steam cleaner - Which? Best Buy?

Can anyone tell me what models of steam cleaners Which? recommend or does anyone have any expert knowledge? I need something to do general cleaning around the house (manky cooker etc.) and to steam mattresses to get rid of nastys

Spookily, I was looking for the same thing. Which? does not seem to have tested any steam cleaners - I looked. I want a steam mop rather than a general steam cleaner though......

Benefits: the moisture dries very quickly on floor leaving it squeaky clean.

I had a vaporreto. It broke, might have to get another as we are going to hard floors throughout soon.

http://search.ebay.com/130284421350 seems to be the most common steam mop. There was one in Costco the other day but I don't remember how much - I like buying Costo electricals as their after sales service is good.

We had a Vaporetto (spelling?) which lasted about 10 years before giving up the ghost. Bought a replacement last year from freeNET, top class customer service and the cheapest prices.

Vaporetto. (sp) Had one for at least 12 years. Had it services about 8 years ago and it's still going strong.

I'm sure it is...it's just not quite in my price range and I don't have a child to sell to raise any cash!
