How long before the Queen is asked to disolve parliament?

Not only is Gordon throwing borrowed money after bad and trying to save the world, but there is increasing specualtion that our glorious leader is completely losing the plot. Surely someone sane is going to ask Her Maj to pull the plug for the interests of the country.........

I seem to remember that "The Privy Council" or a member of said council can approach The Queen and "suggest" that Parliament be dissolved. I'm not even sure that there has to be a General Election; I think that the Privy Council can govern.

Gordon has got a turd on his shoes and I cant see David wanting to slip them on anytime soon, regardless of all the hot air.

ETA: Why would the opposition want to take control of something that still has a way to worsen? Think of it like buying shares ~ the trick is sussing the bottom of the market and then riding them up. Right now this malarkey is nowhere near the bottom, and in all likelihood things might not have really started to turn round before the next election is forced upon the government by the end of the term.

At least that's what I assumed, though the end of the next episode would be preferable.

Seriously though, I wouldn't put it past him to say that he should be allowed to remain in power beyond 5 years in order to save the world.
