Woke up this morning switched on the TV to watch BBC breakfast only to see the news of strikes, protests and general doom and gloom.

However there was something that made it all worth watching..... Susanna Reid lick

That is possibly the least flattering picture I have ever seen of the lass.

So, let me just double check before I close it, where exactly do you want this thread to go?

It was just an observation that in such poor economic times at least we have some good looking news presenters to look at whilst getting ready to go to work!! Thats all.

I think Carl Zeiss might have been more appropriate.

But it's just going to end up with people posting pictures of news readers (hot or not), and telling the world whether they "would" or "would not".

It's not the type of thread we're trying to promote in the P&P. Discuss the news - ace! Discuss the program itself - brill! But "phwoor, she's fit, here's a picture of her" nono

Best close it now then Tony, since I've already started the rot.

Do you not agree though that it's only gonig to end in one place?

Normally we'd be rid quicker than a quick thing, but I just wanted to explain a little what we're trying to do in the P&P and how we're going about it (rather than just deleting and people asking why it was deleted).

We can embrace many different things - it's fun, and we're 99% men so there will obviously be a male tendency to the threads. That's great. But essentially a perving thread is a great example of something that we'd like to see less of. The idea being that it will raise the quality of posts within the P&P and attract less of the undesirables.

PH is now so popular that you can type exceptionally random things into google (medical question, for example) and it will be the number one hit. So what's happening is people are typing "fit news reader" (can't recall her name), seeing posts such as this and then that person is a member of PH. The crap that we get stems from that link.

No really, I'm cool with it, I get your reasoning for closing it, although on other occasions I haven't. Go for it. wink
