Having been keeping an eye on the state of the Euro against the pound it seems as though the pound is strengthening - or the Euro is weakening;

According to xe.com it’s currently @ 1.126 to the pound

The dollar seems to be weakening too @ 1.44 to the pound.

Hopefully things stay this way wink.

See! Gordon the Gopher flies into Davos, sorts 'em all out and hey presto - he's sorted it.

What a hero. Vote labour.

Depends if you're using euro/£ or £/euro. Many economic models use the latter, so a rise does mean a depreciation, and vice versa.

Game on. I'm happy to spend your money, when on such a quality purchase.

What time will you be popping into "cash a cheque"?

Soon as the markets opened, the pound tanked, losing yesterdays €0.01 gain.

Any ideas why?
