DIY question: Regluing vinyl back onto hardwood

Taken up the old vinyl floor in the bathroom.

When I glue the new vinyl floor to the hardwood floor again do I need to do anything in particular? Presume you can just re glue onto the same surface after its had a clean and a wipe down?

Any pointers gratefully received!
