ok so if the wheel was motorised to go in the direction is would normally spin...would the hamster go forwards, backwards, stay still or take-off? For clarification the hamster doesn't have wheels or skids.

ETA its runnings it's little legs off

if it was running it would go the same way, if it was standing still if the wheel was spinning at a high enough RPM it would just spin round.

theres a lot of these threads today lol

Depends if the hamster decided to run or not. If the wheel starts spinning and the hamster stays still, it would be thrown forward and land on the floor of the cage. At least, this is what my hamster does when it tries to walk on the top of it's wheel hehe

If it was motorised to go in the direction it normally goes, surely the hamster would keep flying round the wheel?
Unless the wheel wasn't going fast enough in which case it should probably run on the stop so to say, as normal - but maybe slightly quicker!

We used to have 2 dwarf hamsters - fast little buggers, they used to go into the wheel two at a time and if one slowed down or didn't keep up it would spin around with the wheel! ( Loop the loop ) Was quite a funny sight

Okay, we need to clear a few things up here...

1: Is the hamster remapped?
2: Is the hamster's wheel on a conveyor belt or a turntable?
3: Is any of this taking place near the OXO Tower?
4: Does the hamster, or any of the other apparatus involved, belong to Flemke?

In the spirit of Top Gear trying to power everyday items with a V8 engine,.

You reach a point where the same effect as a spin dryer is achieved and all the moisture is squeezed out.

Sorry.

ok good questions here...

1: Is the hamster remapped? - not remapped but has had its lungs drilled to "improve" airflow
2: Is the hamster's wheel on a conveyor belt or a turntable? Not on either due to lack of room...too many planes/helicopters etc
3: Is any of this taking place near the OXO Tower? No that's gerbils hang out spot (they don't along since "the incident")
4: Does the hamster, or any of the other apparatus involved, belong to Flemke? No the Hamster is a free hamster as agreed under the 1998 Hamster Emancipation Act.

It all depends on how much (and what sort of) beer May drank before he built the wheel.
