Banned motorist drives from court
A man convicted of drinking and driving at a Liverpool court hearing got straight into his car and drove away.
Peter Latham, 25, of Stuart Road North, Liverpool, was issued with a 12-month ban at the hearing on Wednesday after admitting driving while drunk.
Moments later he was caught on CCTV leaving the Community Justice Centre, getting into his car and driving off.
Judge Ian Lomax jailed him for 10 weeks for what he said was "the most blatant breach I have seen in a long time".
Latham, who said he works as a protection officer in Iraq, admitted drinking and driving and using a mobile telephone while driving at the original hearing.
Later that day, and with the CCTV in their possession, police rearrested Latham.
Victoria Marquis, defending, said Latham thought the ban began only when he handed in his driving licence.

Reminds me of getting kicked out of a bar when i was 17 for throwing up everywhere while wasted. I snuck back in through the back door, sat down and enjoyed watching the bouncer with his sleeves rolled up mopping up my chunks as i started another pint

Vehicle is displaying his personal plate that he had on a car be reported stolen. He then stole another car and to disguise it put his personal plate on the car ( with attached stolen report).
He on arrest claims to have not been driving and his mate was and he knows nothing about it he was just getting a lift.

Guy has a car, for arguments sake lets say it has the registration "1D10T".
His car gets stolen, and he reports it stolen.
He now has no car, so goes out and steals another car, however he doesn't want to be caught so he has the genius idea of replacing the number plates on the car he has just stolen.
He puts his "1D10T" number plate on the car he has stolen...
