Just been out with a few freinds, and a lass was there, who in all honesty, I was in love with a while ago, and we're now friends (read: she told me how she felt and I punched the wall for a while, you can guess what she said.)... Anyway, we're getting along fine and then her friends accuse me of trying to get with her, and her "not wanting me around", despite her inviting me to the evening, which I found mightily odd. area all women just horrifically sadistic harpee bds or am I just a bit too naive?

I think I'm going to settle for some 'music' through my new sennhieser headphones (yes yes, worst "i've got new headphones" thread ever...)

I could just do with some confidence at the moment, anyone got some going spare?

I chose the sennheisers because they're small, for my iPod, my hi-fi is technics, and my wireless headphones are sony *puts on flame suit*

its not a bad setup for a student though.

No because Technics don't make a product with suitable impedence for pro sound use. Senn do. As do AKG and Beyer Dynamic and recently M-Audio (rather good to). Even Sony has failed in that department.

But Technics do make a good DJ product. Even though you can't get them fixed if they break I could ramble all night about this subject but I was only pulling yer leg .

Thats interesting as I bought several sennheiser sets over the years and my last lot cost nearly £400 but they hurt my ears and sounded rather tinny, in fact they hurt a lot rather like having my ears flicked with a ruler. The £45 technics blew them away.

Aye but the domestic Senns are crap (made in China). You need to step up to the Irish made units. You wanna see the phones in my studio. £5k's worth in total, and I have to let pissed up rock stars use them .

ETA reading your post again. Are you saying you paid £400 for one pair or for all the pairs you had up to now?

Fook I hope you didn't get stroked with a fake pair. Then again a pair of Senns HD 650's can be had for £300 and to be honest you won't get much better for an untrained ear.

I've tried to be friends with EX's in the past, it has never worked out. Sounds like the OP needs to mnove on.

Oddly I read it as they were friends, he then pretty much told her how he felt, and she didn't feel the same, thus some punching of walls etc.. rather than they split up. I could be wrong.

BUT, women can be like that I am afraid, there is little logic that I can find in the decisions they make, nor the rationale they employ.

Easiest option is to not hang around with her when she is out with friends, if the two of you go out for a drink/cinema whatever then fair enough, but apart from that, it may be best not to see her as she may play up to her friends. I would say if that IS the type of person she is (and it's very difficult to tell from what you have written) then you don't want to know her.

That's how I read it too.

Of course you can be mates with ex's, but not sure if you can be mates with a girl you still have feelings for (clearly you do, or you wouldn't have posted the thread in the first place...you can only blame so much on alcohol), when you know that she does not feel the same way about you. Every time you see her you are reminded that she rejected you, and of course you will hyper paranoid when in her company.
