Most accurate weather site?

Depending whether I go off the BBC, Metcheck, or the Met off I'm faced with either "Heavy snow, you're probably going to die", "High Risk of severe weather", or "Light sleet showers".

Wonderful.

How can you get three totally conflicting forecasts based off, presumably, the same core data?

I find http://www.netweather.tv/ to be fairly accurate, they do a pretty detailed local forecast which usually seems up to scratch.

I'm probably wrong (has to happen sometime) but I thought the metoffice (run by the MoD??) was where everyone gets their info from for the UK weather. Then its just a case of how they interpret ths metoffice's info.

My understanding is (the) Sky is the best place for up to date weather.

apparently even the Met Office look there for the weather.

Good for current weather - their forecasts aren't bad but I find www.windguru.com better - unfortunately for the more acturate forecasts you need to subscriber (about £20 a year)...

I used to use theyr.net but ut is now subscription only and quite expensive...
