If it's so bad.....
Discussion
Yesterday, Mrs chim666 and me went to the West End for the first time in many years to see a show (Christmas treat), and were amazed how busy the place was despite all the doom and gloom about lack of money and the feel-good factor.
The roads from the A4 were jammed solid with traffic, and for over an hour before the show started we plodded about trying to find somewhere where we might sit and enjoy a drink or a cuppa without success - everywhere was packed!
Maybe people are just drowning their sorrows.
After the show, we were dodging those bloody cycle rickshaws whenever we crossed the road (where've they come from?...and are you insured if you use one?).
Now I'm back in the safety and comfort of Wiltshire, I dread to think what it'll be like after another 10 years.
