Do you think they will fold, be bailed out or survive under their own steam.

Would you buy shares in them currently?

It'll be Arab owned by the end of the year.

They tried to mess with Brown and got burned. Too clever for their own good.

They were down 10% earlier.I'd wait a bit before getting stuck in.

I know Barclays really well, I mean really well, work alot around 1CP. Barclays share were down at 48 pence a week ago when I bought, they are going to meet the city forecast for profit of £5 billion +

Do they have toxic debt yes, they have projected lower losses on the debt than other banks have.

The Abb Dabbs have a clause to buy if the share price hits a certain level. Will it need UK gov help I think not as the UK is now broke ( thanks Gordon )

PS I sold at £100 per share if that helps and hold no Barclays in my portfolio
