Which One Would You Hold?

Ok so you are given the choice of holding one of three creepy crawlies (you HAVE to hold it for one minute) which one will it be?

Goliath bird eating spider?



Giant Centipede?



or a desert scorpion?

I honestly could not hold any of those. I wouldn't want to even be in the same room as any of them.

As far as I know their all relatively harmless to humans, bee sting ling bites/ stings. The only time your likely to be in trouble is if you are allergic to the bite and have anathalactic shock.

I imagine the spider is the least likely to bite though, but only because I've held tarantulas in the past without being bitten.

A friend of mine had a bird eating spider as a pet. I have not held it, but it has had a good grip on my knee before whilst showing me its teeth.

After seeing those pics, I'd go for the spider again. Ugh.... (crawling flesh moment).

All of those chemicals are abundant in our bodies anyway, all that is describing is an allergic reaction. Without the Histamine you would probably get a really good high from one of those bites.

The scorpion i reckon, the other two look too wierd. At least you know where you are with a scorpion. Although the black ones look a bit cooler IMHO.

i havent voted as there isnt an 'all' options. i love creepy crawlies. and all animals to be fair. have held tarantulas, giran milipedes, scorpions, boa constricors. gecko's etc etc, i did a day in the chester zoo as a keeper and i was in tropics which involved handling/being around a vast variety of things.

How many of you know how to disarm someone bigger than you with a knife in his hand?

Adrenaline, fear and anger can do some funny things to a bloke but its no good to you if you dont know what you are doing or if the other person is bigger and harder than you or there is more than one person in front of you!
