Had to. Turned up on time at my Bosses (mates) house - He lives out in the sticks. He was shocked that I bothered and sent me home! We are currently doing the stonework on a house (again out in the country) and he thought the transit wouldn't get us there in one piece.

Damn technology - no such thing as a day off anymore, now that I can log in from home. Just a question of whether I'm working from home or at my desk. Today I'm working from home, although I've already had e-mails from people claiming they can't dial in to conference calls because they're stuck at home!

Crazy isnt it? I plodded into work, which was erm "fun" in my MR2. Most of the office hasnt turned up, including one middle aged woman who drives a Mitsubishi Pajero because she claims it makes her feel "safe". Not safe enough to drive the most snow capable vehicle out of everyone in the office 5 miles though, eh?

Started to get to customer site, but customer called me to they wouldn't be in. Their remote access works fine so I can continue working anyway.

Out of 14 people here only 2 of us made it on time.

Snow is no excuse to be late, everyone in London saw it snowing, people should take the initiative and leave earlier or plan their route.
