Mrs XXVIII works for the child fostering services of Lancashire County Council.
She set off wrapped in lots of woolly clothing, having cleared the snow from her little car @ 7.45 this morning.
She slid along the road (as far as I could see) and paused for a moment before carrying on.
She says her office (usual staff of her and 4) was full of the rest of 'em and the car park attendant cadging a cuppa when she got there at 8.35.
She says that they all get 'free' council parking today, not because the car park is unusually empty but because the chap got a cuppa.
Not all gubburmunt people are feckless, some do a fine job whatever the weather.
Shame that LCC is also wasting almost half a million quid over the next five years on a job post that's best described as 'The LCC Recession Czar' - whadda fek's all that about?
