Any Miele washing machine engineers in?
Discussion
Hi,
Vain hope here...
My Miele W 489i WPS has just started beeping for a fault while flashing the Soak/Pre-wash light.
Manual troubleshooting guide says if it persists to call an engineer - it's persisting...
Have drained it and checked the fluff filter. With previous machines I have done most things including replacing motors, brushes, pumps and hoses.
Any clues? - Google is not being my friend here...

I know our vacuum has something like that. recently the suction head went wrong so Mrs Pee phoned up and they instantly sent another one, totally free of charge.
No, my knob was NOT stuck in it

Worth £12 - I got an answer!justanswers expert said:
Soak and prewash flashing indicate a problem with the pressure switch/sensor.
You'll need to gain access to the inside of the appliance, hopefully your version has a lid that comes off.
Locate the pressure switch and take the thin tube attached to it off. Blow down this tube to shift any blockage, refit and try again.
£12 < £92 Miele call-out charge... Bargain. You'll need to gain access to the inside of the appliance, hopefully your version has a lid that comes off.
