Apparently, 2 days after getting power, he decided rendition was useful tool after all. So let me get this straight:

And if Bill Gates is right that this a 4 year recession (which is about the most sensible and pragmatic thing anyone has suggested), Obama will have real problems.

Couldn't care less about your garage. You probably have some nice vehicles and I'm glad we all share the same common interest.
As for writing about cars and people, fraid I do that as well. Maybe not to your standard, and maybe I don't get published, but I certainly write about events, and drives that I do, and present them to people to get an idea of what they too can do. I doubt whether my stuff will be made into B movies or plays that no one has ever heard of, but I guess I can live without that pretentiousness that you obviously would like to admire in someone.

With all due respect LA, that which you accuse Tinman of is precisely what you do, IMO. As for your attack on his affection for cars, you are wrong. He shows you a pic and you discredit it. Tinman organizes car rallys all over the world, one of them annually in my neck of the woods. I could go on and on but feel no need to.
