.....A political party, lets say one leaning towards the far right came up with the idea of infiltrating various online networking sites, non political ones. Likes say car enthusiasts sites, ones where there is a lot of off topic debate across the board,
Then purporting to be the voice of the average car enthusiast, start a thread about a perceived attack on British Values by a Non Christian get their particular point of view out there and posting links to far right organisations press releases and statments, then post a picture of the London Bus Bombing to get their point of view across as anattempt to raise support for their political standpoint, that has to be barely believable

...... Nah... It couldn’t happen, could it? Not on Pistonheads.

There is a place on here for lively debate, but there is also a line of common decency that should not be crossed and I think that posting a picture of the London Bus bombing was the act of a total imbecile. Irrespective of you political beliefs and strength of those views.
FFS we will not post pics of GP crashes that resulted in a fatality...

I only think that posting the photograph of the London Bus Bombing was put there on purpose to raise anti Muslim feeling with no regard whatsoever to the feelings of relatives of victims or survivors themselves.
As I said we are quick enough to jump on someone if the post an inappropriate pic of a plane or a car crash that involved fatalities so to post that photograph to make a supposed political point..

It happened. People did not like it. Maybe some people think it worth reminding people it happened, lest we all forget.

If it had never happened in the first place, people could not post a photo of it, could they?

BTW, I dont know what thread or incident you speak of but firmly believe in the freedom of "speech".

I haven't seen the thread you're alluding to, but that picture of the bus with its roof blown off is the image that's always the backdrop on BBC TV news set, whenever there is a story about the 7/7 bombings. It's hardly a controversial photo
