Road Trip! Baton Rouge to Miami

I have to attend Prediction Modeling meetings at the National Hurricane Center in Miami/Kendall next week. Boring software upgrades. As the weather is predicted to be sunny and between 72-82 degrees F. I have foregone the company flight in favor of a drive. Mrs. Jimbeaux will come along to visit her siblings in Miami and Port St. Lucie. The weapon of choice from the fleet for this mission will be the Zed 4. Tan on the way! I have to mix business and pleasure whenever possible.

No particular reason for posting, just looking forward to a sunny ride as it has been grim around here weatherwise. A 2,000 mile round trip will get that out of my system.

Perhaps on the return. I will be taking the Turnpike route going there as time is important.

I drove from Ft Lauderdale to Lake Charles LA some years ago, a long journey, see if you can break it by having an overnighter somewhere.

I'm flying out on Tuesday. Drop in on the way back and we'll take you out for the evening. We're about a mile from Pensacola NAS.

I am proud to say that we are officially in the top 10 real estate markets in the US, Top ten "Recession proof cities", and Lowest percentages of foreclosures in the country (.035%). That said, we are a smallish city of about 650,000 and not that well known compared to larger cities.
