DVD Extra Features - Help needed
Discussion
It's too long a story to go into, but I'm currently involved in putting together the bonus features which are to go on a movie DVD. The movie recently played at cinemas throughout the UK, and is primarily male interest (plenty of action and violence).
The problem is that I'm not really a DVD buyer, and don't really know what extra features people are interested in on a DVD. i.e what might make the difference between them making a purchase, and not.
So...what extra features (if any) do you look for on a DVD? Sensible answers would be appreciated, as "that fit bird off Coronation Streets phone number" is probably not going to be an option.

well if it's all available to add at no cost - bung it all in providing it fits.
i'm one of those sad people who buy often based on the amount of extras
so:
deleted scenes
behind the scenes
interview with the stars
out takes
story boards
music videos
trailers
easter eggs
alternative endings
lots to choose from

"Making of" is normally ok, particularly if there are lots of stunts etc.
Bloopers / c0ck ups
I find that deleted scenes are often a bit pants
Funny question to ask though - I would have thought that someone in charge of this job would be experienced in the trade. Movie firms charge more for a DVD with lots of extras - "special bonus edition", that sort of thing..
