Does anyone know if there's a Frecnh marketplace equivalent of rightmove or primelocation; i.e. a mega-site which comprehensively advertises property for sale across France?

Bought our's through vefuk.com - good service.

They'll advertise the sort of homes Brits buy.

When you engage them, the local agent will speak to various affiliated estate agents to find the sort of property you specify. Then you can go and visit and see the list they draw up.

Our agent, in the Loire valley, got our requirements spot on.

Haven't tried their pages in English, but this site is the biggest compiled sales site in France:

Cut out the middle man. Has an English version too.

Do not use an English estate agent, you'll surely pay a premium.

Much better just finding your area, then searching for agents in that area, then going out there and looking.

We have seen the property market and selling to Brits change so much in the 20yrs since we first went out there.

http://www.enormo.com it used to be properazzi but they just suddenly changed names :/

It gives results from multiple sites and has a world wide search function, it's quite good really.

www.openmedia.fr
www.seloger.com

are the main 2 (seloger is aimed at renting more I would say)

there's also sites such as:
www.lesiteimmobilier.com
www.pap.fr
immostreet.com
etc

However the agencies always put it either on seloger OR openmedia and then on one of the others.
