Hiring a sporty car in Italy...

Hi All,

I was thinking of going on a jaunt through Southern Italy during May and want to hire a (nice) car for the trip.

I currently drive a 911, but rather than worrying about getting it over to Italy I want to try and hire something similiar (although not necessarily a 911) over there.

Does anyone have any experience with doing anything similiar - any advice on the car hire, or just generally on nice parts of Italy to see (I'll be travelling with my wife) or roads to drive would be appreciated!
